Guest Speaker: Diane Main

Late Blog post.
Last class we had a guest speaker Diane Main. She covered how to properly present a portfolio online. Diane went into detail about how to use google sites to create a new and exciting way to present our work as a webpage. I had no clue how to master making a webpage but with her guidance made everything seem very simple. I can now attach multiple google documents, blogs, and presentations to one website. Connecting an assignments in portfolio fashion makes it easier for students to evaluate their progress throughout a particular course. I felt very accomplished to see how my webpage came together. I found myself motivated to complete my other assignments so that I could complete my webpage. The skills Diane taught the class is extremely useful. I hope to use this form of technology to help my future students combine all of their work throughout the course of a school year to help them put into perspective how they have grown academically.
